Voices of SDG 16+: Stories of Global Action

Reports on Organization's Past Commitments

For a long time we are working on nutrition, health and developing their livelihood and social status for the people who are living in the southern part of Bangladesh. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of them have lost their job, demoted to poor from middle class and migrant from their place. Poverty, hunger strike on them and it hampered our goal of achieving SDG 1, 2, 3, 5 greatly. Though we are leading behind in our developmental activities, with the help of the World Bank, we help 30,000 of waterlogged people in Patuakhali District to help them. These areas are the most climate affected areas of Bangladesh and we are working to ensure safe drinking water, sanitation, nutrition and health.
