Summary of commitment:

BDF embodies an optimistic vision to change the socio-economic condition and empowerment of the disadvantage people in Bangladesh. As we work to achieve the MDGs and SDGs, it is unacceptable to only scratch the surface. We must now effectively tackle the root causes of violence against women and girls and stop patriarchal culture, discriminatory socio-cultural practices, unequal distribution of social, cultural and economic power and the economic disempowerment of women. The evidence of the MDGs, of Beijing+20, the CSW58 outcome and the TAP networks will give us rich data and insight to build a formidable agenda for 2030.

BDF is committed to establish the human and civil rights of the disadvantage people of the community by reducing poverty and mainstreaming gender equality. Our all efforts are contributing to ensure fundamental rights with the preservation of the cultural diversity. Implementation of sanitation and hygiene promotion activities are enhancing indigenous communities, effective lead role to following an integrated participatory and empowering approaches. In line of SDGs, facilitating the communities to effectively mobilize and utilize resources that are available in the localities to ensure optimum.
