The Centre for Sustainable Development and Education in Africa (CSDEA) is an independent organization that was registered in 2007 and seeks to address the challenges of violence, poor governance and health that are making sustainable development elusive in Africa. The vision of the CSDEA is to propose and promote creative and new approaches towards ensuring sustainable development in Africa. The CSDEA advocates transformational policies that lead to peacebuilding, universal access to health and good governance through advocacy, capacity development, reflective dialogue and research. It also embraces a multi-stakeholder approach while networking with organizations that share similar values at the local, sub-regional, continental and global levels.

Summary of commitment:

Our key committment is to continue to support the SDG 16 National Working Group in Nigeria to mobilize multi-stakeholders partners to implement and review progress as it relates to SDG16

Our priorities includes supporting the hosting of the quarterly meetings of the SDG 16 National Working Group including gathering data and annual reviews of SDG 16. We also use the review document as an advocacy tool to stakeholders

We see the SDG 16 Review document feeding into TAP's work by sharing specific information on implementation and impact from Nigeria. This can influence global advocacy and policy
