Current Commitment to SDG16+

Summary of commitment:

Our commitment is to ensure an inclusive system at the grassroots and Local Government Areas in Nigeria through citizens-led demand for Accountability towards 2030 Agenda. We will actualize this commitment by leveraging on our Projects and Budget Monitoring dedicated website (www.pbtracka.com) We have commenced this in Adamawa and Osun State, Within the next 3 three years, we will scale this commitment to 20 out of 36 States in Nigeria

Organization's priorities and work in relation to commitment:

Our commitment in promoting citizens-led demand for Accountability and Good governance will promote inclusion at the grassroots and go along way in combatting the hydra headed monster - corruption. We are training citizens on how to seamlessly monitor and evaluate government projects through our dedicated website (www.pbtracka.com) Citizens will provide feedback on state of projects executed. i.e if it is completed, uncompleted or abandoned. This will enable us to escalate to appropriate quarters for prompt action and where there are cases of corruption, we will report officially to anti-corruption agencies. Citizens can also track budget performance through the website. They will be able to monitor appropriation made by government as regards SDGs.
