Organization mission and work description:

Ihuoma Girls Care and Support Initiative is duly registered with CAC and SCUML (EFCC) as a non-governmental, non-political and non-religious organisation since 2015. we work for girl-children, especially the depressed, disadvantaged, oppressed, abused and vulnerable girl child. We are very passionate about justice and social equality especially where the female gender is cnocerned. We are equally into rescue mission and have intervened in many of such cases in Enugu. To fully actualize out aim of care and support, Ihuoma Girls recently established a shelter for Abused and Trafficked Girls at Ibagwa Enugu State. As an NGO dedicated to salvaging, rescuing and restoration of the dignity of the girl child, we pitch to embolden the girls through awareness creation and enlightenment campaigns. We greatly believe in partnership with orher Civil Society Organisations to have a wider reach of girls and women especially in the rural areas to provide them with educatino, leadership capacity building, health support among many other services we can render. We simply are an organisation passionate about the holistic care of the girl child.

Organization's work related to TAP network's SGD16+ work & accountability for 2030 Agenda:

Ihuoma Girls will contribute to TAP's work in the following ways: 1. Providing quarterly report of all activities with law enforcement agencies, clearly stating our previous state, the current state and progress made, as well as future plans to help proper tracking of our influence in the south eastern region of Nigeria. 2. Submitting reports on Awareness and education spaces on human rights protection. 3. Taking out researches concerning the adherence of social justice in south east Nigeria. How it can improve and provide advisory services to the strengthening of our institutions
