Mission: PDA’s mission is to, strengthen CSOs/ NGOs platform for better governance and accountability, reduce socio-economic as well as gender based inequalities & discriminations and ensure civil and political rights in Pakistan where Agenda 2030 is delivered in full with equal and inclusive participation of all people and where people are empowered to hold leaders accountable for fulfilling their commitment.

Current Commitment to SDG16+

Summary of commitment:

Since the adoption of SDGs by the national Parliament of Pakistan in September 2016. Pakistan Development Alliance and its member organizations are facilitating system strengthening processes towards the achievement of SDGs and we have committed to build the capacity of Parliamentary Task Forces on SDGs, CSOs, academics, youth and other marginalized communities. PDA has also committed to strengthen their forums for better advocacy and accountability processes towards the achievement of SDGs

The decade of actions document of PDAhttps://www.pda.net.pk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Decade-of-Actions.pdf shares the details of our work as well as future commitments, however some of the major commitments are 1) Building the capacity of local government and facilitate them to build their SDGs priority frameworks 2) Launch of SDGs Citizens' Scorecard to share people's perception on the progress of SDGs in Pakistan

PDA has already produced many national reports on the progress of SDGs 16+ and some of them are available at www.pda.net.pk
