Vision SARM envisions a society based on the rule of fundamental rights in which every individual, including the pro-poor, marginalized, in particular women, children, and peoples with minority, disabilities and adivasis have access to justice, equity and in which their human rights are respected and protected., Mission Our mission is to empower the poor and marginalized peoples to protect themselves, both women and men to create independent democratic organization for taking up challenges within their own spheres for a better and more meaningful life for themselves and their immediate community, and establishing their livelihood and rights over the institutions that decide on the allocation of resources and serviceshe people of Bangladesh will be free from all sorts of exploitation and discrimination where everyone has the opportunity to realize their potential. Summary of commitment:

Social Advancement for Rural Mass (SARM) is committed to achieve the target of UN Sustainable Development Goals. Especially, SARM is committed regarding peace, justice and to build strong institution by ensuring good governance. SARM is implementing different types of programme to end violence against women, to reduce women inequalities, to empower women and to ensure equal access in every sphere of the society. We are taking different types of initiatives to ensure Justice and to promote the rule of law at the national and international level for ensuring cohesion and peaceful society. We are also committed to reduce human trafficking and to protect the children rights according to national and international convention. SARM is also implementing a project with Bangladesh Government for raising awareness regarding information rights of every citizen.

Organization's priorities and work in relation to commitment:

Social Advancement for Rural Mass (SARM) is a social organization and committed about women empowerment, to reduce inequalities, to end violence against women and to combat terrorism from the society. SARM is implementing health awareness programme for pregnant mother to prevent their infant from different types of disease. Formal and Non-Formal education for street children are implemented especially girls who are not financially capable. Vocational training on different types of computer programs and handicraft are running for the jobless and helpless women to empower economically in the society. Youth awareness programme are implementing to protect the youth and adolescence from different types of violation in the society. Religious violence, violence against women were the most frequently in Bangladesh and SARM took awareness programme to prevent, to protect the violence alongside to aware the young and adolescences about demerits of the occurred violence. To protect Human Trafficking and to aware about rights of information, freedom of expression are the most important commitment of our organization. SARM are implementing different types of awareness programme to aware the mass people and the targeted people about the human trafficking. SARM prepared booklet, leaflet, poster to raise awareness about information rights and freedom of expression.

Advocacy and awareness build up are the common programs of TAP network and Social Advancement for Rural Mass (SARM). Women empowerment, to reduce inequalities, to combat terrorism, to protect religious violence, to protect t human trafficking, to ensure freedom of expression and the rights of information are the main component and indicators of the 16th goal of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
