Summary of commitment:

TAYOBECO commits to advancing SDG16 by promoting youth-led initiatives on transparency and accountability in governance. Our focus is to reduce violence, enhance participatory decision-making, and build strong institutions that advocate for gender equality and human rights. We aim to implement this through capacity-building workshops and advocacy campaigns.

Organization's priorities and work in relation to commitment:

TAYOBECO’s commitment is to implement SDG16 by addressing critical issues such as violence, gender inequality, and lack of participation in governance. Through workshops, we will train young leaders and community members on their rights and promote public access to governance information. Our theory of change is based on the idea that informed citizens who participate in governance will contribute to peaceful and inclusive societies. Over the next 12 months, we will conduct training sessions and advocacy campaigns, working with local government to ensure inclusive decision-making processes at all levels.
