About Civil Society Platform for Peacebuilding and Statebuilding (CSPPS)
The Civil Society Platform for Peacebuilding and Statebuilding (CSPPS) is a South-North non-governmental coalition of peacebuilding organizations that coordinates and supports civil society participation in the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding (IDPS). The goals of CSPPS are to strengthen the voice and capacity of society to effectively engage in, and influence, peacebuilding and statebuilding as a critical contribution to crisis prevention and sustainable peace and development for all. The CSPPS strives to infuse the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding, Sustainable Development Goals and humanitarian processes with peacebuilding values, globally.

Commitment Summary
CSPPS is committed to provide support to civil society actors in FCAS and to support and strengthen their efforts to strategically engage in a dialogue process with other stakeholders. The upcoming VNR-process in a number of g7+-countries volunteering to go for review is a key process that we would like to ensure to be inclusive and participatory where it relates to bringing in CS-voices. We are committed to provide support for these processes and are interested to partner with TAP Network in getting the process right and getting participants for this process ready to provide substantial and meaningful inputs.

Full Commitment
CSPPS coordinates the civil society arm of the International Dialogue partnership. Having earlier advocated for the inclusion of SDG16 in the 2030 Agenda we are now promoting a New Dew principled approach as lens through which a localization process in a fragile setting should be embarked upon. Meaningful inclusion and participation of all relevant stakeholders is a key ingredient for this and this is also what we have been advocating for at local, national, regional and international levels.
