Global Webinar Resource Launch: Mainstreaming SDG16: Using the VNRs to Advance More Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies
On December 14, 2020, we hosted aĀ global webinar launchĀ for the resourceĀ in partnership with the Global Alliance for Reporting on Peaceful, Just, and Inclusive Societies. The webinar guided participants through the content of the resource and featured insights and reflections from experts and practitioners on Reporting and Follow-up of SDG16 at all levels. These reflections were followed by an interactive session where participants shared their own experiences and lessons learned in mainstreaming SDG16 in their own contexts. SDG16+ In Action: A Civil Society Workshop for National and Local Leadership

This virtual workshop explored ways that civil society can enhance efforts to support bold and ambitious commitments to SDG16+, and showcased opportunities for civil society to mobilize around to advance SDG16+ at the global and national levels. This event was hosted in a workshop style, and provided an opportunity for direct engagement and learning amongst participants.

The secretariat held a membership and partnership call guided by the feedback provided during the membership refresh process (you can find the synthesis report here). The TAP Membership Call aimed to provide an important opportunity for an open-ended dialogue with the Steering Committee and fellow TAP Members on the TAP Network Membership Refresh, to further strengthen engagement and ownership of the TAP Membership going forward.
